Tri City Health Partnership receives $10,000 donation

Clinic provides free health care to residents in need

ST. CHARLES – Tri City Health Partnership has been awarded a $10,000 donation from 100 Women Who Care Fox Valley.

The support will allow the clinic to continue to provide free quality health care to uninsured, low-income residents of Central Kane County. Tri City Health Partnership has provided more than 27,000 on-site visits to 5,000 individuals since its inception in 2001.

Additionally, hundreds of referrals to specialty local medical providers ensures comprehensive care for patients. Medical care is provided by volunteer medical professionals assisted by a small staff.

“With so many wonderful charitable organizations in the Fox Valley, to be honored with this award by such an amazing group of women is truly a blessing, and a surprise," Tri City Health Partnership Executive Director Kim Lamansky said in a news release from Tri City Health Partnership. "You could have knocked me over with a feather when Vicki Deane [of the group 100 Women Who Care Fox Valley] presented the check at our gala event in October."

Lamansky said the funding will help the nonprofit organization achieve its mission of providing quality care to members of the community without the ability to pay for services.

"This award will touch the lives of hundreds of Kane County residents," Lamansky said.
