Dr. Chinedu Nwabueze joins Edward Medical Group in Plainfield

Dr. Chinedu Nwabueze, a board-certified family medicine physician, has joined Edward Medical Group's (EMG) office at 16519 S. Route 59 in Plainfield.

Nwabueze received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

He completed his internship and residency at the Adventist Hinsdale Hospital Residency program.

He is a member of the American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.

In addition to family medicine, Nwabueze’s clinical interests include asthma, back pain, childhood obesity, diabetes, disease prevention, family care, fitness and gastrointestinal diseases.

According to his biography on the hospital's website, Nwabueze "believes optimal patient care results from a close relationship between physician and patient and that the healthiest patients are those who work together with their doctor in forming a plan they are most accepting of."

EMG is a physician practice of Edward-Elmhurst Health and has more than 70 board certified family practice, internal medicine and specialty physicians who treat patients of all ages.
