Tickets on sale for bus tour to Cantigny

DeKALB – On Sunday, the Glidden Homestead will host the annual Barbed Wire Bus Tour to Cantigny’s First Division Museum and McCormick House in Wheaton, narrated by historian Steve Bigolin.

The bus tour will leave from Glidden Homestead, 921 W. Lincoln Highway in DeKalb, at 10:30 a.m. and return around 4:30 p.m. For fans of history, architecture, historical homes and barbed wire, this tour is a must.

Seating is limited. Tickets cost $50 for Glidden Homestead members and $55 for nonmembers. Ticket includes the bus trip, a noon guided tour of McCormick House, and time for an extended visit to the First Division Museum and the 29-acre gardens on the grounds at no additional cost. Bigolin will accompany the tour and point out how it fits into the history of barbed wire and historical architecture.
