Clint P. Higdon

STREATOR — Clint Patrick Higdon, 86, of Streator, passed away Monday afternoon, Oct. 15, at Heritage Health in Streator.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clint was born July 17, 1932, in Peonia, Ky., to Benny and Sylvia (Edwards) Higdon.

He married Delores Kennedy on April 13, 1953. She passed away Oct. 2, 2016.

Surviving is daughter, DeDe (Bill) Barickman, of Streator; three grandchildren, Regina, Kayla and Matthew Devera; and five great-grandchildren, Tyler Revelle, Colten Alvarado and Kayleigh, Mackenzie and Jaxon Devera; brother, Oral (Frances) Higdon, of Streator; and sister, Olita (Butch) Hudron, of Streator.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Clint Devera; brothers, Hartford, Clevie and Jody Higdon; and sisters, Opal Hodge, Sis Higdon, Eunice Alvey and Callie Meredith.

Clint attended grade school in Peonia, Ky.

He was a member of Streator Eagles and a member of the Steel Union.

He was formerly employed at Plymouth Tube as a bench operator.
