Ottawa

Jazmin M. Casey-Wiggins, 21, Ottawa was cited Thursday on a complaint of driving while license revoked. Casey-Wiggins was given a notice to appear.

Anthony Sustek, 28, Ottawa, was arrested Thursday on complaints of retail theft and criminal trespass. Sustek was released on a $150 bond.

Ottawa police responded at 8 a.m. Thursday to the 800 block of West Washington Street for a report of a window being broken in a vehicle.

Ottawa police responded at 5:42 a.m. Thursday to the 1700 block of Guion Street for a report of a window being broken in a vehicle.

Ottawa police responded at 4:36 a.m. Thursday to the 900 block of Marcy Street for a report of a window being broken in a vehicle.

Streator

Streator police responded at 11:44 a.m. Thursday to the 500 block of Montgomery Street for a report of a red riding mower being stolen from the complaintant's yard.

Streator police responded at 11:29 a.m.Thursday to First State Bank, 115 Plaza Drive, for a complaint of fraud. The incident is under investigation.

Streator police responded at 9 a.m. Thursday to Rashid's Mens Wear, 407 E. Main St., for a complaint of someone forcing entry into the business and stealing a number of items. The incident is under investigation.

La Salle County

Leah Hayden, 22, Leland, was arrested at 9:16 p.m. Thursday in the 4000 block of East 2369th Road on complaints of two counts of domestic battery. Hayden was taken to the county jail.

Fire calls

Ottawa firefighters responded at 10:06 p.m. Thursday to 316 Kain Drive for a report of a carbon monoxide detector alarm caused by a stove. The homeowner was advised to have the stove checked by a technician and replace the detectors, which were over 10 years old.

Ottawa firefighters responded at 3:03 p.m. Thursday to a portion of the Illinois River for a report of a sinking boat. The individuals were rescued prior to the fire department's arrival in a boat and were being treated by Grand Ridge Fire Department.

Ottawa firefighters responded at 7:58 a.m. Thursday to 900 Paul St. for an alarm set off by cooking.

Streator firefighters responded at 8:38 a.m. Friday to 606 E. Morrell St. for an alarm set off by cooking.

Streator firefighters responded at 7:13 p.m. Thursday to 606 E. Morrell St. for an alarm set off by steam.
