PALM DESERT, Calif. — Jeffrey Lynn Mullin, 66, of Palm Desert, Calif., passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, in his home.
He was born Jan. 16, 1952, in Manlius. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a master's degree in engineering, he moved to southern California (first to Long Beach, then to Manhattan Beach) to begin work in the aerospace industry where he would continue throughout his 32-year career.
He first married Christine Roush and then married Marsha Diedrich.
He is survived by his five siblings, Randy (Linda) Mullin, Tess (Brad) Etheridge, Linda (Jack) Smith, Terry Mullin and Kim (Gregory) Rudder; a son, Brett (Elizabeth) Mullin; and two grandchildren, Griffin and Rayna.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin; his mother, Carmen; and youngest son, Derek.
Half of his ashes will be scattered with those of his son, Derek, in Manhattan Beach, Calif., and the other half will go to the Manlius Cemetery.
A celebration of his life is planned for 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manlius.
