• Stanton Gavia, 30, of the zero to 100 block of Johns Woods Drive, Rockford, was charged at 7:54 p.m. July 7 with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane use, driving while license revoked and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at Armitage and Maple avenues. Courtney Martell, 31, of the 300 block of West Kimbell Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited at the same time and date with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at the same location.
• Kevin S. Williams, 36, of the 600 block of South 16th Avenue, Maywood, was charged at 11:18 p.m. July 7 with aggravated DUI of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Thornton's, 476 N. York St.
Battery
A battery reportedly occurred at 5:13 p.m. July 8 at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83.
Burglary
• Tools reportedly were stolen between 11:30 p.m. July 1 and 7:45 a.m. July 2 from a truck parked in a driveway in the 200 block of West Wilson Avenue.
• A purse reportedly was stolen between 6:20 and 7:29 p.m. July 5 from a vehicle parked at L.A. Fitness, 620 N. York Road. The driver's side window reportedly had been broken.
• An air compressor reportedly was stolen between 7 and 7:15 a.m. July 6 from an unlocked work van in the 200 block of East Wilson Street.
• A work bag, lunch box and thermos reportedly were stolen between 2:30 and 11 p.m. July 7 from an unlocked Jeep Wrangler in the 300 block of East St. Charles Road.
• Items reportedly were stolen between 10 p.m. July 8 and 5:42 a.m. July 9 from a glove box and center console of a vehicle in the 200 block of East Grantley Avenue. The interior of the vehicle reportedly was ransacked.
Controlled substance possession
• Tyler S. Allison, 25, of the 500 block of East Republic Street, Peoria, was charged at 12:22 a.m. July 5 with possession of a controlled substance and illegal transportation of open alcohol at Roosevelt and York roads. Matthew D. Taylor, 29, of the 3400 block of West Richwoods Boulevard, Peoria, was cited at the same time and date with unlawful possession of marijuana at the same location.
• Lorraine Leftwich, 24, of the 8000 block of South Yale Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 7:47 a.m. July 7 with possession of controlled substance at Panera Bread, 108 W. North Ave.
Disorderly conduct
• Robert Lee Baldwin, 68, of the 600 block of East George Street, Bensenville, was cited at 5:54 p.m. July 6 with public intoxication and possession of open alcohol in public at North and Elm avenues.
• An incident involving disorderly conduct was reported at 9:16 p.m. July 6 at Sky Zone Trampoline Park, 325 W. Lake St.
Drug paraphernalia possession
• Michael Anderson, 33, of the 2300 block of North Keating Avenue, Chicago, was cited at 11:34 p.m. July 2 with possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and no seat belt at North Avenue and York Street.
• Deja D. Porter, 22, of the 600 block of Gundersen Drive, Carol Stream, was cited at 7:43 p.m. July 3 with possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and unlawful use of an electronic communication device at Butterfield Road and Commonwealth Lane.
DUI
• Paul Stepkowski, 29, of the 6900 block of West Forest Preserve Drive, Harwood Heights, was charged at 3:17 a.m. July 4 with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, no headlights and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Route 83 and North Avenue.
• Angela B. Campa-Castillo, 35, of the zero to 100 block of St. Charles Road, Villa Park, was charged at 12:07 a.m. July 5 with DUI of alcohol and improper turn at York Street and Interstate 290.
• Eligah Murry, 72, of the 7300 block of South Seeley Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 2:09 a.m. July 6 with DUI of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, improper lighting and improper lane use at North and Melrose avenues.
• Haide H. Masangcay, 66, of the 3N400 block of Crown Road, Elmhurst, was charged at 1:36 a.m. July 7 with DUI of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper stopping on roadway at Grand Avenue and Willow Street.
Endangering life of child
Charles R. Fiebrandt, 48, of the 400 block of North Myrtle Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged at 11:12 a.m. July 5 with endangering the life of a child at Berens Park, 493 N. Oaklawn Ave.
Forgery
An incident involving forgery was reported at 9:01 a.m. July 6 at Ole Auto Sales, 260 W. Grand Ave.
Identity theft
• An incident involving identity theft was reported at 5:30 p.m. July 5 in the 800 block of South Fairfield Avenue.
• An incident involving identity theft was reported at 6:55 p.m. July 6 in the 100 block of South Pick Avenue.
• An incident involving identity theft was reported at noon July 8 in the 500 block of South Fern Avenue.
Illegal fireworks
Erol Stapleton, 36, of the 400 block of North Oak Street, Elmhurst, was cited at 10:21 p.m. July 6 with illegal use of fireworks at Berens Park, 493 N. Oaklawn Ave.
Lost property
• A yellow wallet was reported lost or stolen at 7:42 p.m. July 2 in the 200 block of North Oaklawn Avenue.
• A wallet was reported lost or stolen at 2 p.m. July 6 at the Elmhurst Police Department, 125 E. First St.
• A driver's license was reported lost at 11:57 a.m. July 7 in the 400 block of North Howard Avenue.
• An Illinois front license plate was reported lost or stolen at 5:09 p.m. July 8 from a Volkswagen Passat while it was parked in a parking lot in the 400 block of South Spring Road.
Marijuana possession
• Jonathan Goodwin, 25, of the 2000 block of South Ninth Avenue, Maywood, was charged at 11:29 p.m. July 2 with unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, suspended registration and driving while license suspended at York Street and North Avenue.
• Khateeb M. Hussain, 24, of the 100 block of South Summit Avenue, Villa Park, was cited at 2:38 a.m. July 6 with unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and no front registration plate displayed at Route 83 and St. Charles Road.
• Paris Adams, 34, of the 2600 block of West 12th Place, Chicago, was cited at 11:40 p.m. July 6 with unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding at North Avenue and Indiana Street.
• Edgardo Herrera, 25, of the 4300 block of West Dickens Avenue, Chicago, was cited at 12:47 a.m. July 7 with unlawful possession of marijuana and improper turn at York Street at North Avenue. Jovanni Herrera, 22, of the 1600 block of North Keeler Avenue, Chicago, was cited at the same time and date with unlawful possession of marijuana and open liquor in a motor vehicle at the same location.
• Frekoba M. Thompson, 27, of the 3500 block of West Douglas Boulevard, Chicago, was cited at 2:26 a.m. July 7 with unlawful possession of marijuana at Route 83 and St. Charles Road.
• Elvedin Kajdic, 33, of the 800 block of Lexington Circle, Hanover Park, was cited at 3:55 a.m. July 7 with unlawful possession of marijuana in the 600 block of West North Avenue.

Property damage
• A metal traffic control gate arm reportedly was damaged between 2:30 p.m. June 29 and 7:03 a.m. July 2 at Euclid Avenue and Harvard Street.
• The rear windshield of a vehicle reportedly was shattered between 6:20 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 2 at McMaster-Carr Supply Co., 600 N. County Line Road.
• The back window of a vehicle reportedly was shattered between 6 p.m. July 3 and 6 a.m. July 4 in the 100 block of North Larch Avenue.
Suspicious circumstances
An incident involving suspicious circumstances reportedly occurred between 2 and 2:36 a.m. July 6 in the 800 block of South Euclid Avenue.
Theft
• Prescription medication reportedly was stolen between 1 and 2:30 p.m. July 1 from the bathroom of a residence in the 400 block of Avery Street.
• A wallet reportedly was stolen between 8:45 and 9:45 a.m. June 27 at Lumen Cardiovascular Specialists LTD, 183 N. Addison Ave., Suite 170.
• Belongings were reported stolen at 10:49 a.m. July 3 at Elm Creek Apartments and Townhomes, 1 Elm Creek Drive. The victims had hired a moving company to assist with a move, and the movers put their belongings in an unmarked box truck June 3 and were paid, but the victims reportedly have not received their belongings.
• Sandals reportedly were stolen at 12:54 a.m. June 30 at Buffalo Wild Wings, 149 N. York St.
• A bicycle reportedly was stolen at noon July 7 in the 300 block of South Rex Boulevard.
• A stop sign and post reportedly were stolen at 11:49 p.m. July 7 at Wilson Street and Kearsage Avenue.
Traffic violation
• Dana W. Armstead, 25, of the 1500 block of South Keeler Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 11:20 p.m. July 5 with driving while license suspended and no seat belt at North and Glade avenue.
• Jolly Edat, 55, of the 5500 block of South Bruner Street, Hinsdale, was cited at 5:17 p.m. July 6 with no valid driver's license at St. Charles Road and Cottage Hill Avenue.
• Adriana Mireles, 36, of the 600 block of North Wolf Road, Hillside, was charged at 6:41 p.m. July 7 with driving while license suspended, tinted windows and failure to properly secure children under 8 years of age at St. Charles Road and Poplar Avenue.
Unlawful use of weapon
Edwin Chavez, 24, of the 200 block of West Division Street, Villa Park, was charged at 4:20 p.m. July 2 with unlawful use of weapon and disorderly conduct at Route 83 and St. Charles Road.
Warrant arrest
Gerald K. Ervin, 34, of the 400 block of South York Road, Bensenville, was arrested at 2:08 p.m. July 3 on a warrant out of Cook County at North and Berteau avenues.
