PRINCETON — Darla Joy (Dionne) Gibson, 45, of Princeton passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, at Aperion Care in Spring Valley.

Darla was born April 25, 1972, in Peoria to Dale and Darlene (Thiel) Dionne.

Darla was the former manager for Pizza Hut in Princeton. She enjoyed music and camping with her family. She loved her dogs very much.

Survivors include her parents, Dale and Darlene Dionne of Granville; Brian Gibson of Princeton and her two daughters, Megan and Abby of Princeton; three sisters, De Anne (Monte) Flack of Champaign, Dawn (Dan) Cioni of Granville and Devin (Brian) Fenza of Peru; and her nieces and nephews, Amber, Nathan, Haley, Caitlyn, Carter and Reese.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville with Father Patrick DeMeulemeester officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville. Additional visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, with prayers at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dan Cioni, Brian Fenza, Monte Flack, Brian Gibson, Brett Caise and Kevin Thiel.
