GLEN ELLYN

Battery

• Hassan Naseer Awan, 37, of the 1100 block of Surrey Drive, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 9:37 p.m. March 22 with domestic battery, interfering with reporting domestic battery and allowing a minor access to a firearm in the 1100 block of Surrey Drive.

• Don M. Sowers, 58, of the 800 block of Saddlewood Drive, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 3:25 p.m. March 20 with domestic battery in the 800 block of Saddlewood Drive.

• Nancy Jo Sefranek, 49, of the 300 block of Bryant Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 9:50 p.m. March 11 with domestic battery in the 300 block of Bryant Avenue.

DUI

Shawntel R. Simmons, 33, of the 500 block of Thornhill Drive, Carol Stream, was charged at 3:04 a.m. March 18 with driving under the influence of alcohol at Geneva Road and Summit Street.

Marijuana possession

Brittany L. Burnett, 22, of the 100 block of Surrey Drive, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 7:40 p.m. March 12 with manufacturing/delivery of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road.

Resisting police officer

John W. Sanew, 44, of the 2N500 block of Virginia Avenue near Glen Ellyn, was charged at 4:06 a.m. March 25 with resisting a police officer in the South Main Street parking lot.

WHEATON

Battery

• Brian P. Borger, 39, of the 1100 block of Campbell Avenue, Wheaton, was charged at 10:39 p.m. March 31 with domestic battery and violation of bail bond in the 1100 block of Campbell Avenue.

• Mujo Hasic, 31, of the 3000 block of Rose Street, Franklin Park, was charged at 10 a.m. March 28 with domestic battery in the 500 block of West Roosevelt Road.

Burglary

• A cell phone reportedly was stolen between 12:45 and 2 p.m. March 29 from a secured car that was parked at the DuPage County Government Center, 505 N. County Farm Road.

• Numerous items of jewelry reportedly were stolen between March 26 and April 1 at a house in the 1600 block of Cavalier Court.

Property damage

• Spray-painted graffiti was reported at 9:43 p.m. March 27 on an electrical box near Target, 601 S. County Farm Road.

• A male teenager reportedly threw a solar yard light from a house into the air and shattered it at 9:48 p.m. March 28 in the 1400 block of Hull Drive.

• A male juvenile reportedly kicked in one of the panels of a garage door at 11:18 a.m. March 29 in the zero to 100 block of Winners Cup Circle.

Trespassing

Janice J. Brustolin, 40, of the 400 block of North Odelle Avenue, Norridge, was charged at 7:03 p.m. March 31 with criminal trespass to property and disorderly conduct at 286 E. Geneva Road.
