Peotone T-shirt printing, embroidery company moves to Frankfort

Same Day Tees to bring options for local businesses, groups, teams

FRANKFORT — A Peotone-based T-shirt printing and embroidery company will move its headquarters Thursday to Frankfort.

“We’ll basically be a national printer right in the neighborhood,” Same Day Tees President Pete Bolsoni said in a statement.

The 15-year-old company had its eye on Frankfort for some time, since outgrowing its Peotone base thanks to booming sales, according to a news release. The move to 9525 W. Laraway Road more than doubles the business' space, from 7,500 to 18,000 square feet.

With a staff of 25 artists, printers, embroiderers, quality control, customer service and sales personnel, Same Day Tees creates screen-printed and embroidered T-shirts, polos, hoodies, caps, jackets, jerseys, work uniforms and more for businesses, organizations, nonprofits, sports teams and other groups.

“We do a lot of really complicated designs and cool pieces of art that most smaller shops aren’t capable of because they don’t have the talent or the equipment,” Bolsoni said.

Bolsoni, who runs the company with his wife, Sandy, plans to increase staff to 35 to 40 employees. The new location also will include a showroom where customers can explore samples and observe the printing and embroidery process.

In addition to a variety of automatic and direct-to-garment presses and embroidery machines, the Frankfort facility offers space for a versatile 18-color press and new low water consumption, environmentally-friendly equipment.

“These were the key factors we were looking for,” Bolsoni said. “So, when the Frankfort location popped up, we jumped on it.”
