Yorkville Mayor Gary Golinski, far right, and the City Council honored two Eagle Scouts at the council meeting Tuesday evening, Feb. 13. Eagle Scouts Hunter Negron, left, and Sean Golinski were recognized for their accomplishments in becoming Eagle Scouts. Gary Golinski serves as scoutmaster for Yorkville Troop 40, and Sean is his son. Both scouts received a plaque. Negron said his Eagle Scout project was to paint the ceilings in the Chapel on the Green with help from some fellow scouts. Golinski said his project was to build a pergola at Yorkville's Riverfront Park with a group of scouts.
