Downers Grove homes shine in Winter Wonderland decorating contest

DOWNERS GROVE – Several Downers Grove homes are awash with lights and other Christmas decorations as part of the Downers Grove Park District's Winter Wonderland decorating contest.

Take a drive from one end of the village to the other to see the 15 houses that participated in the annual contest.

Nine homes entered the traditional category, and six homes participated in the Griswold category.

The efforts at 1337 Andrus Ave. earned the home the top spot in the Griswold category. The home at 6550 Terrace Drive took first-place honors in the traditional category.
