Woman charged with prostitution at Glen Ellyn spa

GLEN ELLYN – An employee at Marigold Spa at 1202 Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn has been charged with allegedly offering to perform a sexual act in exchange for money to an undercover police officer, according to a news release from the Glen Ellyn Police Department.

The Police Department assisted officers from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office after receiving complaints of prostitution at the spa, the release stated.

At about 8 p.m. Oct. 6, officers arrested Bixian Xu, 42, of Flushing, N.Y., who was working at the spa and is alleged to have offered to perform a sexual act in exchange for money to an undercover officer, according to the release. Xu was charged with prostitution and practicing massage therapy without a license.

This is the second prostitution arrest this year at Marigold Spa, the release stated. On April 18, the Police Department assisted the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group during the arrest of Onon Khurelbaater, 31, of Rolling Meadows, who also was alleged to have offered to perform a sexual act in exchange for money to an undercover officer. She was charged with prostitution and obstructing identification, according to the release.

In a similar investigation on Sept. 20 at Sun Spa, 565 Roosevelt Road, the Police Department assisted the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group during the arrest of Julan Deng, 42, of Lake in the Hills, who was alleged to have offered to perform a sexual act in exchange for money to an undercover officer. She was charged with prostitution.
