New drop-off location at The Closet

PRINCETON — The donation drop-off site at The Princeton Closet is now located behind the building at the bright red doors.

With the Napa Auto Parts store now a new neighbor, the owner has provided a new cemented area behind The Closet, along with a ramp at the drop-off site and privacy fence.

Despite the change in drop-off site, the Princeton Closet will continue to receive items during the same time and days, which are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

All donations are received at the red doors. Furniture, however, must be brought through the front of the building. Donations can not be left outside the building.

The second-hand shop is operated by Church Women United of Princeton. Each year, the profits received are donated back to the community through non-profit organizations.

Throughout the years, The Princeton Closet has donated more than $1 million and is working to reach its second million.

• Stained, ripped or broken items

• Televisions

• Computers and their parts

• Printers

• Carseats or booster seats

• Paint or stain

• Cassette tapes or 8 tracks

• Mattress and/or box spring without frame

• Large exercise equipment

• Reader's Digest books

• Textbooks or magazines

• Encyclopedias

• VHS tapes

• Beanbag chairs
