Damaged by BBs
Someone using a BB gun shot and damaged a 2012 Toyota Sienna while it was parked at the Maramech Forest Preserve in the 14000 block of Griswold Springs Road between 3:15 p.m. and 3:28 p.m. May 7, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrested in Boulder Hill
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Urso, 43, of Montgomery at a residence in the 100 block of Garden Drive in Boulder Hill May 7. Police said Urso was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of violation of an order of protection. Police said Urso was transported to the county jail in Yorkville.
Vehicle damaged
County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of criminal damage done to a vehicle parked in the 0-100 block of Hampton Road in Boulder Hill Mary 4.
Cited for leaving crash scene
County sheriff’s deputies cited Mary Ellen Sanches of Braidwood with leaving the scene of a vehicle damage accident May 7. Police said Sanches admitted to driving her Chevy Tahoe into the rear of another vehicle May 6 at Route 47 and Walker Road and then leaving the scene. Police said Sanches was also issued an additional citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Trespass incident
County sheriff’s deputies responded to a trespass incident in the 10th block of Creve Court in Boulder Hill May 6 at 9:10 a.m. Police said several juveniles kicked and climbed on a resident’s fence.
Warrant arrest
County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lisa M. Escatel, 38, in the 0-100 block of Coduros Road in Boulder Hill May 5 at 8:07 a.m. on an outstanding warrant. Police said Escatel was transported to the county jail in Yorkville.
Damaged at Silver Springs
Someone used a BB gun to shoot out two windows on a vehicle that was parked in Lot 2 at Silver Springs State Park May 6 between 3:45 p.m. and 4 p.m., county sheriff’s deputies were told. Police said the victim had left her vehicle unattended to take a short walk in the park with her dog.
Vehicle reported stolen
A Yorkville resident told county sheriff’s deputies that she loaned her vehicle to an acquaintance April 28 and it was later stolen from the acquaintance’s property on Harbor Drive in Oswego Township.
Motorist cited
County sheriff’s deputies cited Cameron N. Shearer, 29, of Plano for speeding over 35 mph above the posted speed limit and driving without insurance after they stopped his vehicle on May 5 at 5:35 p.m. in the area of River Road and Eldamain Road.
