FULTON – An 18-year-old businesswoman has ended her bid for the Fulton mayor’s seat.

Paula Israel, owner of Paula’s Archiving LLC, dropped out of the race because she is moving outside city limits.

Israel lives with her guardians, James and Rebecca Jackson, who are selling their building in downtown Fulton and moving to a more traditional house, James said in a news release.

“She intends to continue her pursuit of a 4-year speech pathology degree and then earn an advanced degree in optometry,” he said in the release.
