DuPage County Coroner's Office releases name of victim in house fire near Glen Ellyn

The DuPage County Coroner's Office has released the identity of a man who died in a house fire Oct. 24 in an unincorporated area near Glen Ellyn.

The victim has been identified as James Jezierski, 69, of the 22W500 block of Tamarack Drive in the Valley View subdivision of Milton Township.

At about 4 a.m. Oct. 24, the DuPage County Sheriff's Office and Lisle-Woodridge Fire District responded to the blaze. Upon their arrival, the one-story house was engulfed in flames.

The cause and manner of the fire are still under investigation. Further studies are pending to determine the cause and manner of death, according to a news release from the Coroner's Office.
