Downers Grove

Battery

• Dennis A. Drechsler, 49, of the 2500 block of Ogden Avenue, was charged at 10:43 a.m. Sept. 8 with battery and criminal damage to property at his residence.

• Adam George Yoksas, 42, of the 100 block of North Harbor Drive, Chicago, was charged at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 8 with battery at the Downers Grove Police Department.

• Jessica L. Penick, 31, of the 900 block of Rolling Drive, Lisle, was charged at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 9 with two counts of domestic battery at 3540 Ogden Ave.

DUI

• Kevin M. Jones, 23, of the 7600 block of Orchard Lane, Woodridge, was charged at 1:45 a.m. Sept. 11 with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol at Hobson and Puffer roads.

• Robert Douglas Daly, 48, of the 2100 block of Warren Avenue, was charged at 8:33 p.m. Sept. 15 with two counts of DUI of alcohol at Burlington and Edward avenues.

Theft

• Liam J. Chones, 19; Demetri P. Offard, 18; and Dwayne C. Hill, 18, all of the 300 block of Alder Lane, Glen Ellyn, were charged at 5:41 p.m. Sept. 12 with retail theft at 2920 Finley Road.

• Mohammad Noah, 27, of the 500 block of Creekwood Court, Westmont, was charged at 3:07 p.m. Sept. 14 with theft at 1081 Zygmunt Court, Westmont.

• Deborah A. Schimanski, 44, of the 26100 block of Oakcrest Lane, Plainfield, was charged at 9 a.m. Sept. 15 with theft at the Downers Grove Police Department.

Controlled substance possession

• Ramsey B. Kudsi, 25, of the 200 block of East Pearson Street, Chicago, was charged at 5:54 p.m. Sept. 14 with possession of a controlled substance at 1000 Ogden Ave.

• Brian P. Crothers, 36, of the 6400 block of Clark Drive, Woodridge, was charged Sept. 15 with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 825 Burlington Ave.

WESTMONT

Battery

• Allen Reece, 30, of the zero to 100 block of West End Avenue, was charged at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 12 with domestic battery at his residence.

• David Williams, 26, of the 700 block of West 65th Street, was charged at 10:40 p.m. Sept. 17 with domestic battery at his residence.

Unlawful weapon use

India Wilson, 18, of the 100 block of South Cass Avenue, was charged at 7:55 p.m. Sept. 18 with unlawful use of a weapon (stun gun) in the 200 block of West 57th Street.

Theft

• Cash was stolen between 7:10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 14 from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of North Cass Avenue.

• Someone stole a purse between 8 p.m. Sept. 14 and 5:45 a.m. Sept. 15 from a vehicle parked in the in the 100 block of East Quincy Street.

• Tools were stolen between 8:30 p.m. and 6:15 a.m. Sept. 15 from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of East Quincy Street.

• A purse was stolen between 1:30 p.m. Sept. 14 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 16 from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of North Warwick Avenue.

• Cash was stolen between 7:40 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sept. 16 from an apartment in the 800 block of South Adams Street.

Traffic violations

Miguel RuizGonzalez, 19, of the 24600 block of West Fraser Road, Plainfield, was charged at 4:15 a.m. with driving with a suspended driver’s license and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 300 block of North Cass Avenue.

Property damage

A vehicle’s window was shattered between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and 5:30 a.m. Sept. 12 in the 100 block of Prairie Drive.
