Battery
• Joseph Jakubowski, 34, of the 1000 block of Byron Lane, Elgin, was charged at 11:21 a.m. Sept. 6 with domestic battery in the 300 block of North Highview Avenue.
• Christine Jaroscak, 47, of the 800 block of South Hawthorne Avenue, was charged at 6:48 p.m. Sept. 6 with domestic battery at her residence.
• Kristy Howland, 53, of the 700 block of South Prospect Avenue, was charged at 6:12 a.m. Sept. 7 with battery at Parkside Avenue and West Adams Street.
Controlled substance possession
Cory Hoefnagel, 23, of the 200 block of West Sunset Avenue, Lombard, was charged at 6:48 p.m. Sept. 6 with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and retail theft, and Shaneria Stemley, of the 3900 block of West Van Buren Street, Chicago, was charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana in the 900 block of South York Road.
Robbery
Stephen Terrelz, 46, of the 800 block of North Lockwood Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 2:41 a.m. Sept. 11 with aggravated robbery at 654 W. North Ave.
Theft
• A 2006 Volvo semitrailer and attached white Hyundai trailer containing 44,000 pounds of aluminum scrap were stolen between 5 and 8 p.m. Sept. 9 from 837 S. Riverside Drive.
• Maria Gomes, 45, of the 100 block of North 13th Avenue, Melrose Park, was charged at 1:19 p.m. Sept. 7 with retail theft at Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83.
• Dealer license plates were stolen between 12:01 a.m. Sept. 1 and 9 p.m. Sept. 6 from at 750 S. York Road.
• A purse, cellphone and credit cards were stolen between 7:20 and 10:25 p.m. Sept. 8 from a vehicle in the 600 block of West North Avenue.
• A laptop and school supplies were stolen at 10:35 p.m. Sept. 8 from a vehicle in the 600 block of West North Avenue.
• Tywanheth Buckley, 20, of the 900 block of South Wisconsin Avenue, Villa Park, was charged at 7:29 p.m. Sept. 9 with retail theft, resisting a police officer, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of marijuana at 944 S. York Road.
Warrant
Lisa Basham 35, of the 1000 block of North Walnut Street, Danville, was charged at 10:27 p.m. Sept. 7 with an outstanding warrant at 168 N. Addison Ave.
DUI
• Axel Martinez, 23, of the 100 block of West Armitage Avenue, Northlake, was charged at 1:38 a.m. Sept. 8 with two counts of driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana at North York and East Third streets.
• Samuel Hernandez, 21, of the 2800 block of North Wolf Road, Melrose Park, was charged with DUI at North Willow Road and Melrose Avenue.
• Eric Leonard, 22, of the 500 block of West Lorraine, was charged at 1:34 a.m. Sept. 11 with DUI at West North Avenue and North Myrtle Avenue.
Disorderly conduct
John Murray, 49, of the 500 block of West Wilson Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 2:24 a.m. Sept. 8 with disorderly conduct at 123 N. York St.
Marijuana possession
Ronald Beyer, 21, of the 2600 block of North Mont Clare Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 4:40 p.m. Sept. 8 with possession of marijuana at West Grantley Avenue and North Myrtle Avenue.
Marijuana delivery
Zachary Hamann, 18, of the 300 block of North Ridgeland Avenue, was charged at 5:21 p.m. Sept. 8 with unlawful delivery of marijuana at his residence.
Property damage
A light pole was struck at 4:52 p.m. Sept. 3 by an unknown vehicle at Walnut Street and West Lake Street.
