The Yorkville Fury Red 12U team competed in the Gatorade National Championship in Grand Rapids, Mich. July 22-24 and finished pool play 3-1 before rain cancelled championship Sunday bracket play. The 2016 season ended at 41-11 including tournament champions in Yorkville, Peoria, Rockford, and runner up in Huntley.
