Multiple arrests at Rock Falls drinking party

MORRISON – Fifteen people were arrested after Whiteside County deputies responded to an underage drinking party at 12:51 a.m. July 2 at 30607 Plautz Road in Rock Falls. Andrew Kobbeman, 20, of Rock Falls, was charged with a violation of the Illinois Liquor Control Act for hosting the party. Braydon J. Delgado, 18, of Sterling, was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor were Cade Coursey, 19, of Sterling; Stephanie M. Binkley 20, of Dixon; Logan A. Wharff, 20, of Sterling; James T. Nelson, 20, of Sterling; Brooke M. Williams, 19, of Sterling; Paige L. Ruthart, 18, of Clinton, Iowa; James R. Schott, 20, of Dixon; and two juveniles, aged 15 and 16, of Sterling.

Arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor was Mariah J. Staebell, 19, of Rock Falls.

A 16-year-old of Sterling also was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and unlawful posssesion of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams.

Also charged were Javier O. Quiroz, 19, of Sterling, for obstructing identification; and Cayden V. Erickson, 19, of Rock Falls, for resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and unlawful possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams.

The Illinois State Police and the Rock Falls Police Department assisted at the scene.
