LA GRANGE PARK – On Wednesday nights this summer, the Memorial Park Amphitheater in La Grange Park will be filled with music as part of a weekly summer concert series.
Music Under the Stars will be 7:30 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday from June 22 through Aug. 17 at the venue at Woodlawn Avenue and La Grange Road.
In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to Park Junior High School, 333 N. Park Road, La Grange Park. Attendees can call the rain-out hotline for updates on concert locations, 708-354-4580 ext. 300.
The schedule for the series includes:
June 22: The Neverly Brothers, sponsored by Plymouth Place
June 29: West Suburban Concert Band
July 6: The Sting Rays, sponsored by Paul’s Pizza
July 13: DuPage Band, sponsored by Hitzeman Funeral Home
July 20: She Gees, sponsored by Ready Teddy Preschool
July 27: Shout Out
Aug. 3: The Class of “68”
Aug. 10: Lisa Renee, sponsored by MB Financial Bank
Aug. 17: Island Night from 6 to 11 p.m. with beer, wine, food and three bands: ALT 101, Johnny Burgin (Rockin Johnny) and Peach’s Beach Party, sponsored by Dr. James Discipio DDS and First National Bank of Brookfield.
