NEW LENOX – The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce helped kick off the grand opening celebration of Board & Brush New Lenox with a ribbon-cutting on April 22.
The line to check out the creative studio stretched into the Bluestone Commons parking lot.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have New Lenox as our first home in Illinois and to be joining your incredible business community. We can’t wait to paint the town with all of its residents,” said Massiel Ullsmith, owner of Board & Brush. “The grand opening really was such a great night.”
Ullsmith was surrounded by family, friends and staff as she cut the blue ribbon to mark the grand opening of Board & Brush. Representatives from the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Ambassador Team and membership were joined by Mayor Tim Baldermann at the event to offer support and congratulations. Chamber President Gary Fouts presented Ullsmith with a certificate commemorating the ribbon-cutting and Baldermann welcomed Board & Brush to the New Lenox community.
“I’m always pleased when businesses choose New Lenox, but Board & Brush is really exciting. It’s unique and really something that will attract people to our community,” New Lenox Chamber CEO Emily Johnson said. “And based on the attendance of the ribbon cutting, Massiel and her team are going to be very busy.”
