ALGONQUIN – A national specialty home decor retailer will move its Algonquin store to the Woodscreek Commons in July, the retailer recently announced.
Currently housed in the Algonquin Commons shopping center, the existing Kirkland's store will close by April 27 and reopen in Woodscreek Commons, in the area of 750 N. Randall Road, next to Kohl's in July, according to a news release. The new store will employ about 30 people.
In the time between the existing store's closing and the new store's opening, customers can buy the store's selection of decorative items, gifts and seasonal products at the Bloomingdale or Rockford Kirkland's stores or online at kirklands.com.
Kirkland's Inc. was founded in 1966 and now operates stores in 36 states.
