Controlled substance possession

Joseph R. Soukup, 23, of the 500 block of 59th Street, Lisle, was charged March 15 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Route 53 and Spring Avenue.

Property damage

The windows of two vehicles reportedly were shattered between 5:45 and 6:30 p.m. March 19 while they were parked at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center, 800 St. Charles Road.

DUI

• Nicole Brown, 34, of the 700 block of Marilyn Avenue, Glendale Heights, was charged at 9:58 p.m. March 19 with driving under the influence of alcohol at President Street and Geneva Road.

• Eric D. Garber, 27, of the 21W200 block of Walnut Road near Glen Ellyn, was charged at 11:20 p.m. March 20 with DUI of alcohol and drugs and leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital, 701 Winthrop Ave., Glendale Heights.

• Eduardo Aquino-Loperena, 24, of the 100 block of Walnut Avenue, St. Charles, was charged at 2:08 a.m. March 19 with DUI of alcohol and drugs, speeding and illegal transportation or possession of open liquor at Roosevelt Road and Interstate 355.

• Hannah Labarge, 20, of the 1100 block of North Path, Wheaton, was charged at 11:50 p.m. March 15 with DUI of alcohol and drugs at Pennsylvania and Newton avenues.

Unlawful use of weapon

David Jamal Abdulkarim, 27, of the 2000 block of West Lunt Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 2:10 p.m. March 17 with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in a vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm in the zero to 100 block of Greenwood Court.

Marijuana possession

John L. Galloway, 21, of the zero to 100 block of North Parkside Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 3:43 a.m. March 20 with unlawful possession of marijuana at Parkside Avenue and Roosevelt Road.
