Kendall County court cases

• Rodney Slaughter, 45, 200 block of East New York Street, Aurora, recently was charged with retail theft, a Class 3 felony, for allegedly stealing two televisions, worth more than $300, from Wal-Mart, 2000 block of Orchard Road, Montgomery, on March 23, Kendall County Court records said. Slaughter’s bail was set at $50,000 and a court date of March 28 was set.

• Gladys Martinez, 38, 800 block of Spring Street, Aurora, recently was charged with driving on a suspended license, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly driving while her license was suspended or revoked on March 19 in Kendall County, according to court records. Martinez’s bail was set at $20,000 and a court date of March 25 was set.

• Justin Svoboda, 43, 0-99 block of S. River St., Aurora, recently was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly having 562 pills of Valium in his possession on March 19, according to Kendall County court records. Svoboda’s bail was set at $15,000 and a court date of March 28 was set.

• Brandon Moss, 36, 1000 block of Highland Avenue, Aurora, recently was charged with retail theft, a Class 3 felony, for allegedly stealing more than $300 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart, 2000 block of Orchard Road, Montgomery, on March 18, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $5,000 and later reduced to $2,500. Moss’ next court date is May 3.

• Jalen Ruff, 23, 3300 block of Pecos Circle, Montgomery, recently was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possession less than 15 grams of cocaine on March 18, according to Kendall County court records. Ruff’s bail was set at $4,000 and a court date of March 30 was set.

• Adam Marlin, 27, 0-99 block of Hillstone Road, Boulder Hill, recently was charged with multiple felonies stemming from several alleged drug deals, according to Kendall County court records. Marlin was charged with four counts of manufacturing/delivering heroin, Class 1 felonies, and three counts of possession of heroin, Class 4 felonies, for allegedly possession and delivering heroin on Feb. 29, March 7 and March 11, records said. Marlin’s bail was set at $150,000 and a date of March 30 was set.

• Jose Guerra, 47, 100 block of N. Adams St., Oswego, recently was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, a Class X felony, for allegedly delivering between 15 and 100 grams of cocaine on March 18, according to Kendall County records. Guerra’s bail was set at $500,000 and a date of April 7 was set.

• Drew Anderson, 27, 300 block of East Kendall Drive, Yorkville, recently was charged with criminal trespass to a residence, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly unlawfully entering a woman’s Yorkville home, knowing that one or more people were present on March 11, according to Kendall County court records. Anderson’s bail was set at $50,000 and a date of April 8 was set.

• Michael Tumminaro, 59, 16300 block of Galena Road, Plano, recently was charged with three counts of disorderly conduct, each Class 4 felonies, following two incidents that allegedly occurred on Jan. 11 and Jan. 22 when Tumminaro allegedly reported false offense to police. Tumminaro’s bail was set at $7,500 and a date of April 5 was set.

Shannon Dwyer-Ridge, 45, of the same address, also was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, both Class 4 felonies, for allegedly reporting similar false offenses on the same dates, court records said. Her bail was set at $7,500 and a date of April 5 was set.
