Face Time with Tom Kochanowski

Batavia resident Tom Kochanowski,
34, was at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve in St. Charles playing Frisbee with friends when he answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle's Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Elk Grove Village

Who would play you in the
movie of your life? Jason Mewes

First job? Bagger at Jewel

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A scientist. Instead, I drive a taxi, and I’m a deejay. My deejay name is DJ Love Musheen.

A movie you’d recommend? “Dark Crystal”

Favorite charity? Goodwill Industries

Do you speak another language? Polish. I am first generation, of Polish parents. My parents both came from the same town in Poland, Nysa, but never met in Poland –  they met here in the U.S.

Favorite ice cream flavor? Ben and Jerry’s chocolate marshmallow

Favorite local restaurant? Mr. Samuri in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I’ve been growing my hair for 16 years and have had dreads for 101/2.
