Feb. 2

Joseph Smith, 29, Polo, was arrested at approximately 7:24 p.m. for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop in the 11,000 block of N. Baileyville Road.

A passenger in the vehicle, Andrew Swift, 29, Polo, was also taken into custody on an outstanding Ogle County warrant.

Swift and Smith were both transported to the Ogle County Jail where they were held in lieu of bond.

Shannon L. Thomson, 30, Roscoe, was arrested for failure to appear. Thompson’s full cash bond was set at $968 pending a Feb. 3 court appearance.

Nicholas Walker, 24, Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for a petition to revoke. Walker’s full cash bond was set at $2,008 pending a Feb. 3 court appearance.

Andrew Swift, 25, Polo,was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Swift’s bond was set at $3,000 pending a Feb. 3 court appearance.

Josh McQuality, 39, Leaf River, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for contempt of court. McQuality’s full cash bond was set at $300 pending a Feb. 3 court appearance.

Feb. 3

Kenneth L. Baumgardner, 49, Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Baumgardner posted $451 as a full cash for bond and was released with no further court appearance.

Jamell L. Burns, 32, Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and motion to increase bond. Burns’ bond was set at $50,000 pending a Feb. 4 court appearance.

Chet L. Harrolle, 33, Byron, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Harrolle posted $275 as a full cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 29.

David D. Holliday, 25, DeKalb, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving while license suspended. Holliday’s bond was set at $10,000 pending a Feb. 8 court appearance.

Phillip L. Jones, 44, Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving while license suspended. Jones’ bond was set at $10,000 pending a Feb. 4 court appearance.

Brendan M. Wingert, 24, Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant on a petition to revoke. Wingert posted 10% of a $3,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 26.

At approximately 6:36 p.m., deputies responded to the 10900 block of East Ill. 38 for a two vehicle accident with Injuries.

It was determined that John Combs, 16, Rochelle, was traveling west on Ill. 38 in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee and rear ended a 2005 Dodge Magnum, driven by Amanda Harris, 31, Ashton.

Harris and her daughter, Alivia Hueramo, 12, Ashton, were transported to Rochelle Hospital for minor injuries. Combs was not hurt.

As a result of the investigation, Combs was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seat belt.

Deputies were assisted by the Illinois State Police, Rochelle Fire, and Ogle-Lee Fire. The accident remains under investigation.

Damien Larson, 23, Rochelle, was arrested for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop for speeding in the 6000 block of east Flagg Road. Larson was transported to the Ogle County jail and issued citations for speeding and driving while license suspended.

Feb. 4

Susan McNett, 61, Freeport, was arrested at 8:33 p.m. for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop in the 17,000 block of West Ill. 72. McNett was also issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor eehicle. McNett was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Rodney N. Davis, 49, Rockford, was arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants for petition to revoke and failure to appear. Davis was unable to post bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 5.

Feb. 5

At approximately 2:54 p.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident near the intersection of Flagg Road and Queens Road. After an investigation, Jessie N. Thornton, 25, Chana, was arrested for driving while under the influence/controlled substance. Thornton was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Chad Henley, 35, Dixon, was arrested at 9 p.m. for not having a valid driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 200 block of W. Third Street in Leaf River. Henley was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Anthony D. Durham, 20, Rochelle, was arrested at 10:32 a.m. for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Janet Avenue. He was released on an I-bond.

Feb. 6

Cheramie Ricke, 35, Ashton, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Ricke’s bond was set at $3,000/10% pending a Feb. 8 court appearance.

Bradley Overcash, 24, Byron, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for theft. Overcash’s bond was set at $25,000/10% pending a Feb. 8 court appearance.

At approximately 4 p.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident in the 2,000 block of West Grove Road.

After further investigation it was determined that a black Hyundai Elantra being driven by Mark E. Hendricks, 28, Oregon, was westbound on West Grove Road when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled over in the ditch.

Hendricks was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Hendricks was transported to the Ogle County Corrections Jail for processing.

He is scheduled to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

Feb. 7

Larry Woodyatt, 44, Mt. Morris, was arrested for unlawful violation of an order of protection. Woodyatt was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 5:36 a.m., deputies responded to a complaint in the 7000 block of N. River Road. After an investigation, Katrina E. Hada, 21, Byron, was arrested for obstructing/resisting a peace officer. Hada was transported to the Ogle County Jail.

Michael Ramsey, 24, Polo, was arrested for failure to appear. Ramsey’s full cash bond was set at $1,184.09 pending a Feb. 8 court appearance.

Michael Ramsey, 24, Polo, was arrested at 9:37 p.m. for obstructing identification following a traffic stop in the 11000 block of West Ill. 52.

He was also arrested on outstanding Ogle and Lee County warrants. Ramsey was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Feb. 8

Dustin A. Manon, 29, Rock Falls, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Manon’s full cash bond was set at $2,569 pending a Feb. 9 court appearance.

Jennifer L. Pruitt, 35, Sterling, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant on a petition to revoke. Pruitt posted 10% of a $3,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 26.

Joshua R. Terry, 26, Creston, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He posted $405.26 as a full cash for bond and was released with no further court appearance.
