WESTMONT – Veterans were treated to a holiday dinner this month by Chef Bob Airdo, owner of Vincitori restaurant in Westmont.
Hal Burke, a Westmont member of the USS The Sullivans DD-537/DDG-68 Association, shared the news with Suburban Life. Airdo served the meal to members of American Legion Downers Grove Post 80.
“Chef Bob Airdo has donated meals periodically to our American Legion Post for our members to enjoy,” Burke said, adding Airdo does it to honor veterans.
