Daniel Michael “Danny” Miller

STERLING – Daniel Michael “Danny” Miller, 28, of Sterling, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2015.

Daniel was born May 22, 1987, in Dixon, the son of Mike and Leanne (Mathew) Miller. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sterling. Daniel was a 2005 graduate of Sterling High School, and worked for Jakobs Brothers Farms since he was 16 years old. He enjoyed fishing with his family, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include his significant other, Melissa Kuhl of Sterling; two sons, Christopher Michael and Jacob Daniel Miller, both at home; his parents; one brother, Andrew Miller of Sterling; paternal grandparents, Gwen and Kevin Miller of Sterling; maternal grandparents, Lester and Joyce Mathew of Morrison; aunts and uncles, Liz (Kevin) Carr of Peoria, Paul (Angie) Miller of Dalzell, Marsha (Harry) Koth of Aurora, and Jill (Kevin) Wohrley of Mendota; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church in Sterling, with the Rev. Mark Oehlert, pastor, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name for his children, Christopher and Jacob.
