Mr. Horton’s seventh-grade social studies class at Sandwich Middle School researched various Eastern Native American groups at the end of October. They were to give an oral presentation and create an artifact to tie in with their presentation. Our school uses the term "Indian" in our logo so students should be aware of the impact and achievements of these cultures which were here before European settlements. Students were able to highlight the cultures' achievements and share many interesting facts. Most students did well on the artifacts.
