SHEFFIELD — Jeffrey W. "Haney" Madsen, 53, of Sheffield passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.
He was born Oct. 29, 1961, in Patterson, N.J., to Frank and Adele (Biggs) Madsen. He attended Tiskilwa High School. He worked at LA Colo, Advantage Auto Sales, and owned and operated a resale shop in Wyanet. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, attending auctions and was an avid junk collector.
He is survived by his children, Barbie (Dan) Patnoe of Wyanet, Angie Birkey of Spring Valley, Eric (Steph) Moss of Henry and Gena (Adrian) Butler of Missouri; his fiancée, Andrea Diaz of Sheffield; eight grandchildren, Bracin and Braelynn Patnoe, Daisy Selser, Austin, Raeann and Tyler Moss, and Natalee and Valaree Swan; his stepchildren, Carmen, Erika and Miguel Diaz; four siblings, Frank (Doris) Madsen, Tom Madsen and Anna (Matt) Noll, all of Princeton, and Ray (Shellie) Madsen of Mark; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime best friend, Mike (Kim) Walters of Walnut.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adele Durbin and Frank Madsen, and his stepfather, Walter Durbin.
A Celebration of Life will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at the Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton. Cremation was accorded.
