Police Reports: Elmhurst for June 19

Theft

• A purse containing a house key, Chase Bank checkbook and a Rolex watch was reported stolen at 8:15 p.m. May 1 from a locked vehicle at 665 S. York Road.

• A black canvas bag containing miscellaneous tools was reported stolen at 5:50 a.m. June 2 from a vehicle in the parking lot of Extended Stay America, 550 W. Grand Ave.

• A black metal tool box containing miscellaneous tools was reported stolen at 6:05 a.m. June 2 from a vehicle in the parking lot of Extended Stay America, 550 W. Grand Ave.

• A white 48-foot Trim semitrailer was reported stolen at 12:36 p.m. June 1 from the storage lot of AIM National Lease, 782 Industrial Drive.

• A purse containing an Illinois driver’s license, $60 in cash, a Visa bank card, Chase Bank card, car key and cellphone was reported stolen at 7:38 p.m. June 2 from a locker at Avenue, 187 S. Route 83.

• A wallet containing a New Mexico driver’s license, a Mexico ID card and a Chase card was reported stolen at 11:43 p.m. June 2 in the 100 block of East North Avenue.

• Six bracelets valued at $100 and two pairs of shoes were reported stolen at 1:49 p.m. June 3 at Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83.

Burglary

A burglary was reported at 11 a.m. June 3 after a man entered a home and stole a pack of cigarettes in the 300 block of North Addison Avenue.

Disorderly conduct

A juvenile was cited at 5:30 p.m. June 1 with disorderly conduct – public intoxication at Spring Road and Prairie Path Lane.

Property damage

A case of criminal trespass and criminal damage to property was reported at 8:18 p.m. June 1 after five bicycles were found in the backyard of a vacant house in the 100 block of Hale Street. The door to the detached garage was found open with the light turned on, and it harbored a smell of burnt fireworks.

Marijuana possession

Joshua Lundgren, 18, of the 200 block of Madison Court, Elmhurst, was charged at 12:56 a.m. June 2 with unlawful possession of marijuana and one taillight at Madison Court and Euclid Avenue.

Underage drinking

• Patrick Eslick, 19, of the 900 block of South Fairfield Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited at 7:37 p.m. May 29 with possession of alcohol by a minor at Spring Road and Adams Street.

• Connor Daly, 19, of the 200 block of West McKinley Avenue, Elmhurst; Erin Ward, 18, of the 500 block of West Armitage Avenue, Elmhurst; Andrew Muno, 18, of the 500 block of Fairview Avenue, Elmhurst; Alec Turkowski, 19, of the 1700 block of Berkshire Street, Glendale Heights; Sean Placey, 19, of the 500 block of East Park Avenue, Elmhurst; Samuel Rose, 19, of the 0 to 100 block of Franklin Drive, Northlake; Liam Cahill, 19, of the 100 block of South West Avenue, Elmhurst; Julie Toomey, 19, of the 200 block of Fair Avenue, Elmhurst; Gianni Domenico, 19, of the 300 block of West Adams Street, Elmhurst; Ryan Russ, 18, of the 600 block of Princeton Avenue, Villa Park; Steven Osterhout, 19, of the 700 block of Bryan Street, Elmhurst; and Samuel Symeondes, 19, of the 700 block of Oakmill Court, Addison, each were cited at 12:09 a.m. May 28 with consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 200 block of West McKinley Avenue.

• Alejandro Rocha, 20, of the 2100 block of North Hawthorne Avenue, Melrose Park; Kevin Rocha, 20, of the 1000 block of West Fullerton Avenue, Melrose Park; Victor Garcia, 19, of the 0 to 100 block of East Fullerton Avenue, Northlake; and two juveniles were cited at 7:26 p.m. May 28 for possession of alcohol by a minor at Eldridge Park, 363 W. Commonwealth Lane.

• Anthony Padilla, 21, of the 700 block of North York Street, Elmhurst, was cited at 12:20 a.m. May 27 with permitting minors to drink alcohol on his property in the 700 block of North York Street. Padilla was with Alexander Morreale, 18, of the 200 block of Paddock Circle, Glendale Heights, and Steven Berg, 18, of the 200 block of Claremont Street, Elmhurst, who each were cited with consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Underage alcohol sale

Christopher Ferraro, 45, of the 600 block of West Armitage Avenue, Elmhurst was cited at 6:24 p.m. May 27 with sale of alcohol to a minor at 678 N. York St.

Underage tobacco sale

• James Clark, 28, of the 800 block of South Harvard Avenue, Villa Park, was cited at 6:45 p.m. May 27 with selling tobacco to a minor at 572 W. Lake St.

• Syed Nassar Ali, 59, of the 1900 Sunset Drive, Hanover Park, was cited at 5:57 p.m. May 27 with sale of tobacco to a minor at 926 N. York St.

False ID possession

Alexandrea Lopez, 20, of the 200 block of South 43rd Avenue, Northlake, was charged at 8:20 p.m. June 1 with possession of a false identification card at St. Charles Road and Chandler Avenue.

Traffic violations

• Edward Giles, 23, of the 17W500 block of Wrightwood Avenue, Addison, was charged at 8:25 p.m. May 26 with no valid driver’s license, no insurance, speeding and failure to signal at Grand Avenue and York Road.

• Szczpan Woinski, 34, of the 400 block of North West Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited at 6:09 p.m. May 27 with failure to yield turning left and no valid driver’s license at Lake Street and West Avenue.

• Donald Schroyer, 49, of the 2300 block of Francine Avenue, Joliet, was charged at 6:54 p.m. May 28 with driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic control device at Kenilworth Avenue and Church Street.

• Victor Martinez-Gonzal, 28, of the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue, Addison, was charged at 2:56 a.m. May 30 with driving while license suspended and improper stopping in the roadway at North and River Glen avenues.

• Hector Ramos, 24, of the 600 block of South York Road, Bensenville, was charged at 12:37 a.m. May 31 with no valid driver’s license and driving without headlights when required at Grand Avenue and York Road.

• Jurate Aukstakalnyte, 36, of the 1500 block of West Jarvis Avenue, Chicago, was cited at 10:25 a.m. May 31 with operating an uninsured motor vehicle at North Avenue and Route 83.

• Shana Wilson, 28, of the 4900 block of West Thomas Street, Chicago, was charged at 1:24 a.m. June 2 with no valid driver’s license and no insurance at North and Addison avenues.

• Michelle Pack, 39, of the 100 block of Crescent Drive, Villa Park, was cited at midnight June 2 with failure to secure child and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at York Community High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road.

• Juan Hernandez, 49, of the 100 block of Sonny Lane, Bensenville, was charged at 4:31 p.m. June 2 with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and an expired registration sticker at York Road and Grand Avenue.

• Tomika Shorter, 22, of the 1000 block of North St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, was cited at 6:39 p.m. June 2 with no insurance, driving while license suspended and failure to yield turning left at North and River Glen avenues.

Found property

• A silver and orange bicycle with broken foot pedals was found at 12:52 a.m. June 1 at Jefferson Elementary School, 360 E. Crescent Ave.

• Three mattresses and several rolls of used carpeting were reported to be illegally dumped at 9:21 a.m. June 2 at a construction site in the 200 block of Oneida Street.
