POLO – The city has opened a drop-off site for branches, sticks and brush for residential use only.

Gates along South Galena Trail Road at the old sewer plant will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 7 days a week.

It’s not for use by commercial landscapers, and no construction materials, furniture, leaves, grass clippings or garden waste will be allowed.

Illegal dumping will be reported to Polo police.

No burning will be allowed.

The new service is being provided on a trial basis.
