Battery

Cory Shockey, 22, of the 1100 block of South Fairfield Avenue, Lombard, was charged at 3:27 a.m. May 16 with aggravated battery to a police officer, battery and criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of South Fairfield Avenue.

Burglary

• An ignition key and a wallet containing $70 and several identification cards were reported stolen at 10:01 a.m. May 15 from a residence in the 2400 block of South Finley Road.

• A wallet was reported stolen at 7:23 a.m. May 16 after the front passenger side window of a rental vehicle was shattered in the parking lot of Extended Stay, 260 E. 22nd St.

Theft

• A cellphone was reported stolen at 2:26 p.m. May 15 from Schafer School, 700 E. Pleasant Lane.

• Razors and nutrition supplements were reported stolen at 6:03 p.m. May 15 from Target, 60 Yorktown Shopping Center.

• Joseph Pulido, 41, of the 900 block of Hillcrest Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 3:02 p.m. May 16 with retail theft after he allegedly stole merchandise from Von Maur, 145 Yorktown Shopping Center.

DUI

• Nathan Ruchala, 32, of the 2200 block of South Grace Street, Lombard, was charged at midnight May 15 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license suspended at Butterfield Road and Fountain Square Drive.

• Mark Guerrero, 40, of the 23000 block of Highland Drive, Athens, Ala., was charged at 12:48 a.m. May 15 with DUI of alcohol, speeding 35 miles per hour more than the limit and fleeing or eluding a police officer at Roosevelt Road and Lincoln Street.

• Tomas Kulikauskas, 20, of the 600 block of South Princeton Avenue, Villa Park, was charged at 11:36 p.m. May 15 with DUI of alcohol, fleeing the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance in the 400 block of West Harding Road.

Threat

A threat was reported at 9:52 a.m. May 15 following a verbal argument at Waste Management, 700 E. Butterfield Road.

Property damage

A rock was reported thrown through a window of a home at 2:17 a.m. May 15 in the 900 block of South Lincoln Street.

Fraud

• An unauthorized withdrawal with a debit card was reported at 5:40 p.m. May 15 at 7-Eleven, 246 S. Westmore Ave.

• Unauthorized purchases on a credit card were reported at 5:42 p.m. May 16 in the 1300 block of South Finley Road.

Disorderly conduct

• A report of a person making obscene gestures was made at 10 a.m. May 15 at the Lombard Police Department, 235 W. Wilson Ave.

• An intoxicated person reportedly kicked a vehicle as it drove by at 9:36 p.m. May 16 in the 1100 block of South Edgewood Avenue.

Disturbance

• Two people were reported yelling at employees at 12:43 p.m. May 15 at a business in the 800 block of East Roosevelt Road. Both were issued trespass warnings and instructed to leave the premises.

• Fireworks were reported at 2:28 p.m. May 16 in the 400 block of West St. Charles Road. A person denied setting off fireworks.

• A person was reported arguing with a train conductor at 3:57 p.m. May 16 at the train depot, 20 S. Main St. The person left the area.

• An intoxicated and disoriented person was reported at 7 p.m. May 15 in the 0 to 100 block of Woodland Court. The person was transported to the Lombard Police Department to wait for a ride.

Trespassing

Two men were reported trespassing in a pool at 12:37 p.m. May 16 at Paradise Bay, 433 E. St. Charles Road. The men reportedly jumped a fence to gain access to the area and exited the same way.

Obstructing justice

Connor Brophy, 20, of the 100 block of East Maple Avenue, Lombard, was charged at 12:49 a.m. May 16 with obstructing justice in the 100 block of East Maple Avenue.

Animal complaint

A skunk was reported to have a peanut butter jar stuck on its head at 8:28 a.m. May 15 in the 300 block of West Eugenia Street. The jar was removed from the skunk’s head.

Traffic violations

• Michael McCabe, 20, of the 1300 block of South Rebecca Road, Lombard, was charged at 6:34 p.m. May 15 with no valid license and speeding in the 100 block of West Maple Street.

• Fatima Baig, 19, of the 500 block of North Ellsworth Avenue, Addison, was charged at 12:53 a.m. May 16 with driving while license suspended, disobeying a traffic control device and no insurance at Stewart Avenue and Roosevelt Road.

• Richard Boezio, 18, of the 1000 block of South School Street, Lombard, was charged at 1:24 p.m. May 16 with driving while license suspended in the 700 block of North Columbine Avenue.
