Holy Family's 3 year old preschool offers a great, well rounded curriculum in order to prepare youngsters for the 4 year old pre K program and ultimately the kindergarten classroom.  The children learn to take turns, socialize, and cooperate, while also working on fine and gross motor skills.  In no time these young students will be recognizing letters and sounds, which helps them progress to sight words and writing skills the following year.  
The adjustment Holy Family has made to the 3 year old schedule will not only accommodate working parents' schedules, but it will also offer more learning opportunities to these pint sized students.  Although three and four year olds were able to stay for an extended day this year, the addition of curriculum to the afternoon portion of the day next year will enhance the educational environment that the preschoolers are exposed to.  The full day option will also prepare children for the 5 day, all day schedule for 4 year old pre K and kindergarten.   
The new structure will include academic specials and lessons in the afternoon along with nap time.  Knowing that children thrive on routine and consistency, the added classroom time will aid the child who enjoys a regular schedule.  There is an option to pick up a child before lunch, but the afternoon offerings will prove to be exciting learning opportunities that will benefit the youngsters.
