ST. CHARLES – Steel Beam Theatre in downtown St. Charles presents "Ordinary Days," a musical for four weekends beginning Friday, April 10.
Directed by Richard Pahl of Elgin, and music directed by Matt Gruel of Batavia, this musical explores the lives of four young people living and surviving in New York City. Against a colorful backdrop of the city created by Roberta Maxfield of DeKalb, and accompanied by solo piano, the ensemble of Tony Calzaretta of Schaumburg, Cynthia Fortune-Gruel of Batavia, Kevin Chlapecka of St. Charles and Katie Bates of Mequon, Wisconsin, join their voices to bring this score to life.
Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays, from April 10 through May 3, at the theater, 111 W. Main St., St. Charles. Tickets are $28 for adults, $25 for seniors 62 and older and $23 for students.
