Scouts visit Eagle Cave

Boy Scout Troop 2810, chartered out of Salem Lutheran Church in Sycamore, recently went camping at Eagle Cave near Blue River, Wisconsin. Eagle Cave is Wisconsin's largest onyx cave and has four main levels with 3,000 feet of passages to explore. The boys slept in the cave after exploring for hours. Some of the cave's unique features are Fat Man's Misery, Toad Stool and Rock of Ages. This biennial trip is a favorite with many in the troop for the spelunking adventures, lodge meals and uncommon sleeping arrangements.
