ST. CHARLES – After getting married last year at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles, celebrity couple Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg appear to be buying a house in St. Charles.
During Wednesday's season finale of the A&E docu-series "Donnie Loves Jenny," they were shown discussing the purchase of a house in St. Charles. "Donnie Loves Jenny" follows McCarthy and Wahlberg from their wedding at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles in August 2014 through their lives as newlyweds.
The episode revolves around Wahlberg planning a McCarthy family reunion at the Hotel Baker. McCarthy, who was raised in the Chicago area, tells Wahlberg about her desire to move back to the area. She had previously rented a house in Geneva.
“I want to come back,” McCarthy tells Wahlberg. “I miss it so much.”
It is revealed during the episode that Wahlberg made an offer on a house in St. Charles. Later in the episode, McCarthy is heard saying, “He got the house.”
McCarthy’s publicist could not be reached for comment on whether the couple actually bought the house.
Toward the end of the episode, McCarthy expressed her happiness about moving back to the area.
“We’ve had so many memories in this town,” she said. “Now we get to make a lifetime full of them.”
