Dynamic Fitness Center in Coal City has expanded

COAL CITY – Last month Dynamic Fitness Center, 995 E.Division St. in Coal City, officially celebrated its 2,000 square foot expansion with a ribbon cutting and open house event.

Coal City Mayor Neil Nelson and Village Clerk Pam Noffsinger, along with members of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce toured the new facility, which now totals 8,500 square feet, according to a news release. Those who toured also met with trainers to learn about the new equipment.

Guests were treated to tours of the facility with fitness trainer, Mindy Fitzpatrick of Pure Fitness and members of her staff, along with General Manager Sandy Bennett.

Dynamic Fitness Center offers a wide range of Nautilus, Apex, and Precor equipment as well as a variety of weight equipment at the gym to help members gain the most from each workout. Trainers, through their companies, offer personal and group training and specialty classes directly to the customers including Cardio Kick Boxing, High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T), Power Pilates, Yogalates, Boot Camps and more.

Whether members seek to lose weight, tone up, maintain fitness levels or gain nutritional guidance, the professionals on site can assist in achieving fitness goals, according to the release. With the expansion, new equipment added to the club include a new incline/decline bench, 115 and 125 hand weight pairs and a weight bars, two Cybex Arc Trainer machines, a new Stairmaster and two new Precor treadmills.

Monthly fees are $25 per month with a one year contract or $30 per month for a month- to-month agreement with a 30-day option to terminate. Dynamic Fitness Center will soon be open from 3 a.m. – midnight daily.
