AMBOY – Richard L. "Dick" Reynolds, 71, of Amboy, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at KSB Hospital in Dixon.

He was born March 18, 1943, in Amboy, the son of Charles and Fay (Hobbs) Reynolds. He had worked for Motor Wheel and Hart Carter, both in Mendota, and ConAgra in Dixon. He was a veteran of the Army. He married Mary Eller on Dec. 22, 1973, in Amboy.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of Amboy; four children, John Reynolds of LaSalle, Susan Puente of Chicago; Melissa Reynolds of Amboy, and Rusty Reynolds of Amboy; seven grandchildren, Robert, Britney, Alison, Jorja, Danielle and Logan Reynolds, and Amanda Puente; great-grandson, Tristan Lyons; and a sister, Laurel (David) Newman of Stockton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Ted Hunter; sister, Marjorie Kirk; and granddaughter, Hannah Puente.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Jeanblanc officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Repose Cemetery, with military honors by the Amboy American Legion Post.

A memorial fund has been established.
