Longhorn Steakhouse puts its brand on Berwyn

BERWYN – Longhorn Steakhouse has been serving up steaks fast and furious ever since it opened its doors Dec. 1, 2014, in Berwyn’s Cermak Plaza, 7115 W. Cermak Road.

The Steakhouse celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 4, 2014, in partnership with the city of Berwyn and the Berwyn Development Corp.

The outlot development was facilitated by a redevelopment agreement made between the city of Berwyn and Cermak Plaza Associates in the summer of 2014.

Managing Partner Elizabeth Delrose-Siddiqui said the restaurant received a warm welcome from the Berwyn community and that the restaurant hopes to become Berwyn’s favorite steakhouse.

The restaurant’s design is inspired by the American West and is reminiscent of a rancher’s home. Its interiors feature updated, contemporary artwork and sculptures of horses, western landscapes and sunsets complemented by warm tones, wood, stone and steel fixtures.

The 6,273-square-foot restaurant will seat more than 240 guests and will create about 80 to 100 new jobs for the surrounding community.

With a goal to become America’s favorite steakhouse, the company currently operates more than 470 restaurants in 40 states.
