BERWYN – A Burr Ridge man died about 8 p.m. Sunday after his car struck a concrete viaduct column in Berwyn, according to the Berwyn Police Department.
Nicholas Paganelli, 26, of Burr Ridge was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Berwyn police said Paganelli was driving south on Oak Park Avenue when he crashed into the center concrete column of a viaduct between 28th and 29th streets.
Police said the crash remains under investigation and investigators have not yet determined how fast Paganelli was driving during the crash.
Police said no on else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash and no one else was injured.
