New optometrist joins Advanced Eyecare Clinic

LAKE IN THE HILLS – Optometrist Christine Janikowski recently joined Advanced Eyecare Clinic’s office in Lake in the Hills.

Dr. Janikowski has been in optometry/ophthalmology for more than 25 years, with 16 years as a practicing optometrist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Loyola University in Chicago, and her doctorate degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

While at ICO, she completed several internships including primary care, pediatrics, low vision and advanced care, and her externships were performed at Maryville Academy, the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education and the VA Chicago Health Care System.

She is a member of both the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association and is a resident of McHenry County.
