SHOREWOOD – The annual Shorewood Crossroads Festival, which runs Aug. 1-3 at Four Seasons Park, will feature fireworks, live music, a car show, parade, hot dog eating and even a hot wings contest, bags competition, the beautiful baby contest and carnival rides.

The musical line-up for the weekend include Libido Funk Circus, Cover Story and Strung Out. ARRA will headline Aug. 2 at 9:30 p.m. Country band, Back Country Roads, wil perform Aug. 3 at 2:30 p.m.

The craft and vendor tent is bigger than ever on Aug. 2, with Bingo on Aug. 3 by the American Legion. A car show is set for Aug. 3.

The parade at noon Aug. 3 is in honor of Cene Schwartz, a longtime Shorewood resident who helped grow the village and the parks in particular. The theme is “A Park for All Seasons." The creative float ideas are endless.
