Bartlett police investigate murder-suicide

BARTLETT – A Bartlett couple found by police at about 7 p.m. Tuesday in their townhouse died in an apparent murder-suicide, according to autopsies performed by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Bartlett Police Department responded to the residence in the 500 block of Horizon Drive for a well-being check and found the bodies of Eileen P. Sulli, 55, in the living room area and David H. Stone, 49, in an upstairs bathroom, according to a police department news release.

The medical examiner's office ruled Sulli's death a homicide caused by head trauma, officials said. Stone was found to have died from self-inflicted sharp force injuries.

The Bartlett Police Department, together with the Major Case Assistance Team, continues to investigate this incident.
