Palatine man pleads guilty to disorderly conduct, gets community service

ST. CHARLES – A Palatine man accused of performing a sexual act in a St. Charles parking lot must complete 100 hours of community service, according to Kane County court records.

Jeffrey Alan Poindexter, 35, pleaded guilty April 18 to disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor. This was reduced from the original Class A misdemeanor of public indecency/lewd exposure, records show.

Kane County Associate Judge Elizabeth Flood accepted the plea.

Poindexter will be under court supervision until April 17, 2015, and he must complete 100 hours of community service at any nonprofit by that date, records show.

Records indicate he must also pay a $500 fine.
