POLO – Justin Weems, 32, of Polo, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at his home.
Justin was born Aug. 17, 1981, in Sterling, the son of James W. and Becki Weems and Kim Hazlip. Justin attended the Oregon and Polo school districts. While in school, he played football. Justin worked as a pressman for 9 years at Quebecor Printing in Mount Morris. His favorite sports teams were the Chicago White Sox and Oakland Raiders. Justin loved all types of music. Justin loved fishing in his grandpa’s pond and the Rock River.
Justin is survived by his father, James (Becki) Weems of Polo; his mother, Kim Hazlip Rowe of Lanark; three brothers, Jamie (Tiffany) Weems of Mount Morris, Michael (Judy) Weems of Polo, and Roy Rowe of Mount Morris; two sisters, April Miller of Cookeville, Tenn., and Dianna (Nathan) Geiger of Wellman, Iowa; his children, Bryce, Jeven, and Ethan Weems, his loving boys whom he would do anything for; his grandparents, Leland (Lucille) Hazlip of Oregon and Jerry (Tina) Quimby of Mount Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Mark Rowe; and grandfather, Charles Weems.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and the funeral at 1 p.m. Saturday at Finch Funeral Home, 405 E. Hitt St., Mount Morris, with the Rev. Angelo Bonacquisti officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for his boys.
