Faivre-Busser
Annie Mary Faivre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Faivre of DeKalb, and Benjamin Jordan Busser, son of Karen Busser and late Paul Busser Jr. of Byron, were married on Sept. 7, 2013, at First Lutheran Church in DeKalb. Pastor Janet Hunt officiated the ceremony.
The bride wore an A-line French lace dress with a cathedral vale. Their colors were Red and Black in honor of where they met, Northern Illinois University. The matron of honor was Heidi (Faivre) Peterson, sister of the Bride and the best man was Brett Runyard, friend of the groom.
The bride graduated from DeKalb High School in 2005 and received two Bachelor degrees from Northern Illinois University. She currently works as a teacher at Hononegah High School in Rockton.
The groom graduated from Byron High School in 2005 and works as a mechanic at the nuclear power plant in Byron.
The couple will reside in Oregon.
Lamphere-Askelson
Zachary Lamphere of DeKalb, proposed to Christina Askelson of DeKalb at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, in her office. By 10:30 a.m. that same morning, they were married. They were married at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore.
A 2005 graduate of DeKalb High School, Christina works in the office of DeKalb County Circuit Clerk, Maureen Josh, at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore. A 2007 graduate of DeKalb High School, Zachary works for the family business, Lamphere's Furniture in Aurora.
A reception was held Saturday, Sept. 7, at the home of Mary and Dave Lamphere, DeKalb.
The couple resides in DeKalb.
