LOMBARD – The Glenbard East High School music program has been selected as semifinalist in the Grammy Signature Schools program.

The school's music program is one of about 100 high schools across the country and one of just nine from Illinois to earn the distinction.

The foundation's Signature Schools program recognizes top public high schools for making an outstanding commitment to music education.

The Grammy Foundation will announce the finalists in March. Each finalist school will receive an award and a monetary grant to benefit its music program.
